Workshop Ready Seedlings
The forward seedlings that were planted two weeks ago are now out of the propagator and ready for the second workshop tomorrow night 13th February 2017.

Tom's Garden Springing To Life
It's very early season and most gardens tend to look rather bland and boring but on closer inspection of Tom's garden there are many signs that spring has finally sprung!! Here are a selection of the latest newcomers in all their colourful glory!

Sweet Pea Seedlings Germinating
It's less than one week since our intrepid gang of workshop participants sowed over 1,000 seeds and already they are starting to show signs of life. The bottom row are doing the best because they are closer to the heat source so we'll be switching them around very soon to give the top row a chance.

Tom's New Cold-Frame
Tom's new temporary cold-frame, as mentioned in your latest newsletter, is almost completed. Situated in one corner of the decking area it measures 16 X 18 feet. Plenty of room to accommodate the glut of 1,000+ seedlings generated through the workshops!

Sweet Pea Workshops 2017 Well Underway
Our first workshop took place on Monday 30th January and I was very pleased with the turnout which was well in excess of 20 people, which was slightly overwhelming! The session was entitled "Seed Sowing" and the participants sowed in excess of 1,000 seeds which are now in the propagator and we wait with great expectations! Everyone is looking forward to the next session on Monday 13th February.
